Street Athletics 2010

This was the 3^rd year in a row we have produced the Street Athletics website, and once again we went in a different direction with the website integrating social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr as well as a blog so that everyone has the chance to interact with the website. This was the main objective of this site to try to promote a community with in the site and with in social networks, this was so competitors could chat about the event and compare their own times.

We also kept the street edge, with distorted, cracked graphics to give the idea of graffiti on a worn pavement, with a slightly more classical edge.

This year promises to be bigger and better with Linford Christie and Darren Campbell appearing at new events all over the country, and with last years winners prize being a sprint coaching session from Tyson Gay it’s all to race for!

Big Wheel Promotions

We were asked by Big Wheel Promotions to create a set of fliers to promote their upcoming events at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, in London. The fliers are to be used by the Big Wheel and the Theatre to promote three upcoming events, ‘an evening with Monty Don’, and two music concerts Seth Lakeman and Martha Wainwright.

The fliers were kept simple, with bold fonts and clear images. The idea was to create something that could be appreciated universally.

IAMLUFBRA

IAMLUFBRA is a new venture by Loughborough University's Sports Development Centre and Athletic Union. The original goal was to drum up supporters for the specific sports events, yet due to the immediate success of social marketing campaign on Facebook, with over 3000 fan's joining the group in under a month the goal was changed to inspire people about Loughborough and everything it offers.
